What you can expect:

You can expect to be treated with respect and compassion. My approach is trauma informed and emotion focused. I recognize the importance of establishing a safe space to support personal reflection, exploration, and growth. I believe in the practice of self-care and the invaluable act of meeting emotion with a non-judgemental approach. My education, work, and life has taught me that we are shaped by our experiences, relationships, dispositions, and environments. I have received additional training and skill in the areas of system navigation, advocacy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and mindfulness.

Therapy is a collaboration, and it is important that you find a therapist that is the right fit for you. I welcome your inquiries. Each session is 50 minutes in length, and we will work together to determine the frequency. Please let me know what your appointment scheduling needs are as I will make every effort to provide a flexible service. If your circumstances require a home visit, please let me know.
